Venus & Olay Razor-Where's the moisture?

Thanks to Influenster's Voxbox program I've been given the chance to test out the new Gillette Venus and Olay razor.
Gillette's website says "Olay Moisture Bars release skin conditioners to help lock in moisture and boost your shave* while 5 blades get Venus close." The * leads you to read on that there is less dryness over time compared to Venus Breeze over time. I have to admit this threw me off a bit. I tested the product expecting more moisture in an instant. I didn't find my legs to be any more moisturized than normal. But, to be fair, I haven't used the Breeze to compare the difference between the two.

The thing I love about this razor is the handle. It is a bit rubbery and squishy and easy to control.

Another great thing is that it comes with a wall mount. It worked great in my bath tub but not so great on the texturized walls of my shower.

I'm not too keen on the scent. It smells like a vanilla musk to me. It brought to mind the smell of The Body Shop's vanilla spice that was available at Christmas time. I'm sure many people would love the scent. It's not something that would keep me from purchasing, just not something that I'd seek out.

It is nice to not have to use a soap or shave cream when shaving. You just wet the product and start to shave. However, the added thickness of the strips made it a little less smooth going when it came to my curves.

Although the razor did it's job, I don't know that I will be repurchasing. It hasn't wow'ed me.
